The history of Leondra

There is a strong team behind Leondra with one common goal:
Create a online platform, which connects musicians, event organizer as well as all other player of the music business.

The founders are the saxophonist Sandra Leonie Ritter and the entrepreneur Peter Reuschel. By gaining comprehensive experience in the national and international area of artist and concert management, they transferred the online portal into the Leondra music business platform, which was launched end of 2009.

After a consolidation phase and of 2012, the company relaunched in Berlin as Leondra music GmbH in July 2013.

2000 – 2002
Innovative marketing concept with newcomer artist: Sandra Leonie Ritter.
The concept was successful – the idea of Leondra was born.

2002 – 2008 
The saxophonist Sandra Leonie Ritter and the entrepreneur Peter Reuschel found Leondra GmbH & Co. KG in Cottbus.
Leondra acquires know-how in artist management through its first CD releases and concert management in Germany and abroad.
Leondra goes live with the first version of an internet portal for musicians and event organizers.
Leondra moves to Mannheim, not least because of the path-breaking development in the creative economy of the Rhine-Neckar region.

2009 - 2010 
Positive market tests and high market acceptance lead to the continual expansion of the portal as a business platform with value add services from Leondra and its partners to offer a 360°- service.

2011
Upgrading of the Leondra music business platform by a pro-active fan management as limited beta version and digital promotion, as well as first placements of artists to marketers. 

2012 - 2013
After a consolidation phase and of 2012, the company relaunched in Berlin as Leondra music GmbH in July 2013.

2014-2016
Extension of business activity for other segments including exploitation of latest technologies, such as Blockchain technology.
